ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To study the level of neuropsychological development in late preterm infants and early term infants at the age of 1 year.@*METHODS@#A total of 1 257 children with a corrected age of 1 year were enrolled as subjects. According to gestational age at birth, they were divided into an early preterm group (28-33 weeks), a late preterm group (34-36 weeks), an early term group (37-38 weeks), and a full-term group (39-41 weeks). Gesell Developmental Schedules were used to assess the neuropsychological development of the children, and the groups were compared in terms of neuropsychological development at the age of 1 year.@*RESULTS@#There were significant differences in the developmental quotients of the five functional areas (adaptability, gross motor, fine motor, language and social ability) between the four groups at the age of 1 year (P<0.05), and the full-term infants had the highest development quotients, followed by the early term infants, the late preterm infants, and the early preterm infants (P<0.05). The full-term infants had the lowest rate of developmental delay in each functional area, while the early preterm infants had the highest rate (P<0.05). Compared with the full-term infants, the early term infants had a higher risk of developmental delay in adaptability (OR=1.796, P<0.05), and the late preterm infants had a higher risk of developmental delay in adaptability (OR=2.651, P<0.05) and fine motor (OR=2.679, P<0.05), while the early preterm infants had a higher risk of developmental delay in adaptability (OR=4.069, P<0.05), fine motor (OR=3.710, P<0.05), and social ability (OR=3.515, P<0.05).@*CONCLUSIONS@#The risk of neuropsychological developmental delay decreases with the increase in gestational age in children at the age of 1 year, with a dose-response effect. There are varying degrees of developmental delay in early term infants and late preterm infants, and health care follow-up for early term infants and late preterm infants should be taken seriously.

ABSTRACT

An online solid phase extraction ( online-SPE) combined with ultra high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole linear ion trap mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS / MS-Qtrap) was established for the simultaneous identification and determination of 10 kinds of algal toxins in water samples. Multiple injections of water samples were controlled by a preset program, and the target analytes were enriched by trap column. The six-way valve was switched subsequently, and the algal toxins in the trap column were back-flushed to the analytical column for separation and analysis. The results showed that the online SPE significantly simplified pretreatment process, and the linear ion trap tandem mass spectrometry improved the sensitivity of the determination. Moreover, the establishment of enhanced product ion (EPI) scan library provided evidence for the confirmation of algal toxins. The 10 kinds of algal toxins showed a good linear relationship with correlation coefficient R2>0. 99. The limits of detection (LOD) were 0. 0015 -0. 0050 μg / L. The mean recoveries at three spiked levels of 0. 02, 0. 1, 1. 0 μg / L were from 83. 7% to 98. 5% . The method was suitable for the rapid confirmation and quantitative determination of various algal toxins in water.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect and mechanism of Chaizhixiaji Decoction on experimental bile reflux gastritis (BRG) rats. Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups by random according to weight and sex:control group, model group,Chaizhixiaji Decoction low and high dose groups, and Hydrotalcite Tablets group.Rats were given self-made reflux liquid orally to induce experimental bile reflux gastritis. The diet, stool and urine, hair color and body weight of rats in control group and model group were observed. The histopathological changes of gastric antrum mucosa were observed by naked eyeand light microscope after HE staining.ELISA method was used for detection of serum GAS,PGE2 content in gastric antrum mucosa.Result Compared with control group, rats in model group show thin boicing stool containing red yellow mucus, slow reaction, and body weight decreased significantly (P < 0.05).There were patchy erosions of the gastric antrum with yellow green bile and more yellow mucus of model group in the naked eye.Model control group had a significant rise of inflammatory cells infiltration and intestinal metaplasia, and scores of inflammation and intestinal metaplasia increased significantly (P < 0.01).GAS and PGE2 contents obviously decreased compared with that in control group (P < 0.01).Compare with model group,Chaizhixiaji Decoction of high dosesignificantly improved gastric mucosal tissue damage morphology;reduced the infiltration of inflammatory cells and intestinal metaplasia, which score decreased significantly (P < 0.05,0.01);and increasedlevels of GAS and PGE2 significantly (P < 0.01).Conclusion Chaizhixiaji Decoction has obvious protective effect on gastric mucosa, and its mechanism may be related with the regulation of GAS,PGE2 contents.
